Open Consulting is seeking motivated and aspiring data professionals for our intensive 8-week autumn traineeship program. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical, real-world experience and launch your career in Data Engineering.

Key Details

  • Role: Data Engineering Trainee
  • Type: Unpaid, 8-week traineeship
  • Location: This is a full-time, in-office role at our Pinner location (HA5 4PA).
  • Commitment: Monday to Friday, for the full 8-week duration.
  • Dates: Monday, 8th September – Friday, 31st October 2025.

What You Will Gain

  • Hands-on experience with a modern data stack, including Python, SQL, databases, and Snowflake.
  • Practical skills in building and managing data pipelines using Airflow DAGs and DBT.
  • Development of crucial data analysis abilities and software engineering best practices.
  • A valuable project for your portfolio, proper training along with mentorship and a certificate of work experience upon completion.

Who We Are Looking For 

We encourage applications from recent graduates (Bachelor's or Master's), career switchers, or anyone with a deep desire to learn. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid understanding of fundamental software engineering practices.
  • Essential proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • A strong desire to learn, adaptability, and a collaborative, team-player attitude.
